Q: Where is your office located?

A: My office is located in Manotick, Ontario at 1139 Mill Street. I am currently taking in-person clients at this location.

Q: What age groups do you work with?

A: I work with children aged 7 and up, as well as adolescents and adults.

Q: How do I pay for my sessions?

A: Payment is done through e-transfer. Details for payment will be provided at the time of your first session.

Q: Do you offer direct billing to insurance?

A: I do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. I can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to understand your coverage for therapy services.:

Q: What is a typical session like?

A: A typical session lasts for 50 minutes. The first few sessions are often dedicated to getting to know each other, discussing your goals for therapy, and creating a comfortable space for you to share.

Q: Is what we discuss confidential?

A: Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything we discuss is kept strictly confidential, with a few legal exceptions which we will review in detail during our first session. These exceptions typically relate to safety, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: I require at least 24 hours' notice for a cancellation. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged for the full session. This policy is in place to respect the time we've set aside for your session and to allow me to offer the slot to another client.

Q: Do you offer sliding scale?

A: Yes, as of now, my fee is $80 per client as I am still an intern, but open to speaking with you about your financial needs.
